2011   Events
12th March – A Delhi – based NGO “Promise” conducted a workshop on ‘Time management for students of our school as well as those from other schools.

 

 29th April – Inter House Table Tennis

                1st – Blue House

               2nd – Yellow House

               3rd –  Red House     
                                                                           
   

May – Vibes 2011 a cultural-cum-variety entertainment programme was conducted by ATTC, barding. Nikki Ghatraj brought laurels to the school for her performance in Classical dance and classical music (vocals) as did Chopel Doma in the fancy dress segment.

 

Class IX students visited NHPC, Singtam as a field trip augmenting the curricular activities. Class X visited the Temi Tea Estate for the same purpose.

July – Ambuja Realty organized a drawing competition. Some students were selected for the finals at Siliguri but were unfortunate not to win. This was a competition for the whole of West Bengal and Sikkim.

14th Sept – Ms. Joyce Khanna, former Principal of Faith Academy, Delhi addressed the students and teachers on effective teaching and learning.

 

 

17th Sept – Mr. G. Balasubramanium addressed the teachers of Greendale School along with those of other Schools on Classroom techniques.           

14th October – The earthquake of 18.9.2011 forced the “Terra Quiz” to be held on this day. This was organized by the CBSE.

11th November – The school celebrated RTE day with a rally, followed by an open discussion on the topic by all classes from VI to XII.

 

 

14th November – Sports held for Nursery to Class V students. Inter House Volleyball was also conducted.

 

















15th November – A spelling competition for Classes I – VI was held along with a Quiz competition for Classes VIII – XI followed by extempore speeches.

 

 








 


16th November – A short cultural programme was presented by the teachers and students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Social networking hampers inter-personal relations” This was the topic for the debate for Class IX to XII. The day ended with the annual Prize distribution.
