Common room facilities for Day Students (With over 500 day pupils coming and going from Green Dale’s school each day, the school ground are the hub of the school, where the vehicles arrive and depart each day.
 
The location of these houses within the Student Centre means students are close to the student services of a health centre, counsellors, chaplain and the careers centre. They are also situated right next to the main sports fields.

Each house has three teaching staff and 8 – 10 prefects who provide support and guidance to the students, ensuring their well being while at the school.
