The name of the Trust
shall be ‘GREENDALE EDUCATIONAL TRUST’ Bank

East District
Gangtok on 13.05.08 |

The office of the Trust shall be
at Daragoan, Tadong, East Sikkim
(Greendale Educational Trust) or at
such other place or place as the
Trustees may from time to time
decide and determine. |

| 3. |
The objects
of the Trust shall be Public
Educational purposes and its income
shall be applied or accumulated in
India for public educational purpose
withinthe meaning of the Income Tax
Act, 1961 and any statutory
modification thereof and without
prejudice to the generality of the
aforesaid, the following shall be
deemed to be Principal object:- |

a. To foster / promote education
to local boys and girls of Sikkim
and rest of India through the medium
of English language and other local
languages. |

| |
b. To establish
support, maintain and grand aid or
other financial assistance to
School, Colleges, Libraries, Reading
rooms, Lecture Halls, dormitories,
Hostels and other educational
literary, scientific, technical and
research institutions in Sikkim for
the purpose of Teaching through the
medium of English Language and to
render financial assistance to poor
and needy students |

c. To hold and
manages endowments and establish
awards, fellow-ship, Scholarship,
students medals trophies and prizes
for the student. |

d. To organize, promote or
conduct any programs with culture or
ethnic relevance in relation with
the traditions of the region or any
such incidental programs among the
students as well as the public
community of Sikkim. |

e. To promote
games, sports picnics, study tours,
exhibitions, carnivals and other
activities, with or without fees. |
| |

| |
f. To provide Library and
reading room facilities and to
organized debate, Essay
competitions, quiz, etc. for the
public with pr without fees. |

| |
g. To render
assistance or scholarship in cash or
in kind to needy students in special
and Exceptional case of hardship,
either form the society fund or by
raising donations for the cause. |

| |
h. To participate
in voluntary services viz. NSS, NCC,
etc. or to associated with any
organization to promote national
interest, community welfare, health
and knowledge distribution. |

| |
i. To partner or
associated with any educational or
social welfare institution or reach
centers to share or receive
knowledge and its practice for with
or without a cost. |

j. To arrange and
organize different programs and such
activities that would arouse a sense
of national feeling and patriotism
amongst the students. |
